How Litenett writes, checks and corrects the guides on this site \u2014 and what it does not take money to publish.<\/p>\n

Who writes the content<\/h2>\n

All substantive content is drafted by Litenett consultants or named external contributors with the relevant professional background. Every published page lists an author and a date; where more than one person contributed, they are both named.<\/p>\n

How content is checked<\/h2>\n

Every new guide goes through four stages before it is published:<\/p>\n

  1. Draft<\/strong> \u2014 by the author, with primary sources cited in the working document.<\/li>\n
  2. Editorial pass<\/strong> \u2014 by a second consultant, who reads it as a stranger would and marks every unclear sentence.<\/li>\n
  3. Fact check<\/strong> \u2014 a line-by-line review of every number, name, date and link against the primary source. Numbers with no verifiable source get cut.<\/li>\n
  4. Final sign-off<\/strong> \u2014 by a senior partner, who is responsible if a claim turns out to be wrong.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
