One short email is all it takes. No forms-of-forms, no newsletter trap, no sales call. Here’s exactly what to put in that first message — and how to tell a reply really came from us.

How to reach Litenett

Every reply from us comes from an address at @litenett.com/. If you receive something claiming to be Litenett from any other domain — even one that looks similar — treat it as a phishing attempt and let us know.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 CET. We don’t answer messages at weekends, because thinking clearly about money needs daylight and coffee, not rush.

What to include in a first email

Keep it short — three or four lines is plenty. Useful to include:

• What you’d like help with. A financial plan, investing education, a firm/offer check, or you’re not sure yet — any of those are fine.
• If you want an offer checked: the firm’s or person’s name, and how they first reached you (email, LinkedIn, a friend, a TikTok, a cold call…).
• Any deadline. If someone is pushing you to decide by a date, say so in the subject line. That way we read your message in the right order.

Please don’t attach documents, screenshots or figures to the first email. Once we know what the work involves, we’ll agree a safe way for you to share anything we need.

What you don’t need to share — and never will

• Your bank, broker or crypto login details. Litenett has no reason to see these, ever.
• Scans of passports or ID. We don’t do onboarding checks ourselves.
• Account balances to the euro. “A rough idea” is plenty for a first conversation.

How to check a message really is from Litenett

We’ve seen scammers impersonate consulting firms by changing a letter in the domain name (litenett vs. liitenett, letenett and so on). To check:

1. Hover over the sender address and read it carefully. It must be [email protected] — nothing else.
2. If there’s a link in the message, hover without clicking. The destination must be on litenett.com/.
3. Still unsure? Email us at [email protected] yourself and ask whether we really sent it.

We will never ask you to pay by cryptocurrency, by gift card, through a “temporary escrow” link, or to a bank account that doesn’t have Litenett in the account name. If someone tries that, it isn’t us.

What happens after you send the email

1. A human reads it (usually within one working day).
2. If it’s clearly not for us, we say so and suggest where to look instead.
3. If it is for us, we propose a short intro call to agree what the work involves — then you decide whether to go ahead.

You owe us nothing until you sign a short engagement letter — and even then only the fixed fee you agreed, nothing more.
