Version 1.0 · in force from 1 November 2026.
Read this before acting on anything you see on litenett.com/. The site exists to inform, not to advise. Nothing published here is a recommendation, a solicitation, or a promise about what any investment, firm or decision will do to your money.
1 · The site is general information
Every page, article and guide on litenett.com/ is written to inform a broad audience. We don't know your income, your household, your tax position, your risk tolerance or your goals — and we aren't trying to guess. If you need advice that is tailored to you, the only route is to engage Litenett for a paid consultation under a signed engagement letter, or to speak with another qualified adviser.
2 · Not investment advice
Nothing on this site is a personal investment recommendation under European investor-protection rules. Articles may describe how an instrument works, explain fees, or compare the mechanics of two products — none of that is a suggestion for you to buy, sell or hold anything. Decisions you take on the basis of general reading are your own, and the consequences of them are your own.
3 · Not tax, legal or insurance advice
Tax law, inheritance law, insurance law and financial regulation differ from country to country, and from year to year. Even where we describe an idea in general terms, we can’t address every reader’s position. For anything that could affect a tax bill, a will, an insurance claim or a regulatory status, speak to a qualified tax adviser, lawyer, notary or regulated adviser in your own country.
4 · Investing carries risk
Prices fall as well as rise. Returns from the past are not a guide to returns in the future. Some investments can lose all of their value, and a few can leave you owing more than you put in. If you cannot afford to lose what you would invest, you probably should not invest it.
Anyone who promises you a specific return, a doubling of capital, a “no-loss” product or a guaranteed income from investment is making a claim no honest firm can back. Treat such promises as a red flag, whatever the brand behind them.
5 · No endorsement of firms named
Where we name a firm, platform or product in a guide or a worked example, we do so because it is a real-world case readers will have met — not because we endorse it. Our editorial independence policy forbids affiliate links, sponsorships and any commercial relationship with firms we write about.
6 · Linked websites
We link to third-party sites when a reader needs to verify something — a regulator’s register, a public database, a court file. We have no control over the content of those sites once published, and a link does not mean we agree with everything they say.
7 · Testimonials and client stories
Where we publish a client testimonial, it reflects that client’s experience at the time it was given. It does not promise the same experience, let alone the same outcome, for anyone else. Where we publish a case study, identifying details are changed to protect the client’s privacy.
8 · AI-generated content disclosure
From time to time we use large language models to draft, edit or translate. A human Litenett consultant reviews and signs off every published word; nothing is pushed live automatically. If a specific page ever contains AI-generated text that has not been through human review, it will say so at the top of the page.
9 · No warranty
We work hard to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we publish it “as is”. We do not warrant that every page is free of errors, always available, or always current. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.
10 · Impersonation warning
Fraudsters have been known to impersonate consulting firms. Every real Litenett email comes from an address at @litenett.com/ and every real link points to litenett.com/. We never ask for passwords, two-factor codes or payment in crypto or gift cards. If you receive anything else in our name, forward it to [email protected] for us to confirm.
11 · Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this page. The version date at the top tells you when the current text took effect.
