How we work

From first email to finished work — in plain words.

The whole process — first email to finished work — in plain words. Five steps, one fixed fee, and no commitment until you sign a short letter.

The five steps, in order

Process diagram

1 · You send a short email

Two or three lines are enough: what you’d like help with, any firm or offer you want checked, any deadline. No forms, no sign-up, no mandatory file to attach. See the contact page for exactly what’s useful to mention.

2 · Free intro consultation

A short call (or email thread if you prefer) to understand your situation and the decision in front of you. If Litenett isn’t the right fit, we say so and suggest where you’d be better served — no pressure, no second ask.

3 · Engagement letter

If we are the right fit, you receive a one-page letter in plain English: what we’ll do, the fixed fee, what you receive at the end and how long it’ll take. You read it, you sign it, and only then does the paid work begin. Before step three you owe us nothing.

4 · The work itself

Research, write-ups, sessions, or a check report — depending on which service you booked. Throughout, your money and all your accounts stay entirely yours. We never need a login to anything.

5 · Handover

You receive everything we produced — plans, spreadsheets, notes, check reports — as plain files you keep forever. No subscription, no “portal”, no lock-in. If you want a follow-up call three months later, just email.

How Litenett is paid

By you. Only by you. One fixed fee per engagement, agreed in writing up front. No hourly rate, no percentage of pots, no commissions, no referral kick-backs, no “trailer” income from any firm anywhere. If a vendor sent you our way, they paid us nothing. If a bank thanks us for a client, we send the thanks back unopened.

What the fee buys varies by service, and we tell you exactly before you commit. If the work turns out to need more hours than we expected, that’s on us — the fee doesn’t move.

What goes into the engagement letter

A single page, plain language, covering:

  • Who you are and who we are — names of the people on both sides.
  • Scope — exactly what the work covers, and what it doesn’t.
  • Fee — the single figure you’ll pay and how you pay it.
  • Timing — when we start, when the handover happens.
  • What you receive — the specific files, write-ups and sessions you’ll have at the end.
  • How either side can walk away — your cancellation rights and ours, and the refund rules.

No small print written to protect us at your expense. If a clause reads like insurance-company text, it isn’t our letter — ask us to rewrite it in English before signing.

Does anyone else pay Litenett?

No. We have no fund partnerships, no broker affiliations, no insurer commissions, no sponsorship deals, no “preferred panel”. We don’t run ads on this site, we don’t accept retainers from product providers, and we don’t take introduction fees from other firms. The only money that reaches Litenett is the fee each client agrees in writing.

That’s how we protect independence — by making sure there’s no other channel for it to leak out of.

What you’ll share — and what you won’t

For a plan: a rough picture of income, outgoings, any debts, and what you’d like life to look like in 3-5 years. For education: your current questions and any platform login you want explained (you log in, we look over your shoulder — we never take your password). For a firm check: the firm’s name and whatever they sent you.

What you’ll never share with us, because we don’t need it: your bank, broker or crypto passwords; your two-factor codes; the balance of an account to the last cent; any ID scan. If anyone claiming to be Litenett asks for any of these, it isn’t us.

What happens after the handover

You own the output. Full stop. If life changes and you’d like us to revisit something a few months later, just email — we’ll agree a short follow-up fee if it needs real work, or answer a small question at no cost if it doesn’t.

You’re free to walk away and never hear from us again. We don’t send newsletters, we don’t call to check in, and we don’t share your details with anyone. Our one request: if you had a good experience, tell a friend who needs one. That’s how we grow.

How to check a Litenett message is real

Every email from us comes from a @litenett.com/ address. Every link we send points to litenett.com/. We never message you on WhatsApp or Telegram first, and we never ask you to pay in crypto, gift cards, or into an account that doesn’t have “Litenett” in the name.

If anything looks off, forward the suspicious message to [email protected] and we’ll confirm whether it’s us.
